Transfer of Data to Contractors
AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
ACTION: Notice of Intended Transfer of Confidential Business
Information to a Subcontractor.

SUMMARY: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to transfer
confidential business information (CBI) collected from the landfills
and incinerators industry to Highland Data Services, a subcontractor of
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). The information
being transferred was collected or will be collected under the
authority of Section 308 of the Clean Water Act. Interested persons may
submit comments on this intended transfer of information to the address
noted below.
DATES: Information will not be provided to Highland Data Services
before July 12, 1994.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: EPA intends to transfer information,
including CBI, to Highland Data Services for data entry. In accordance
with 40 CFR Part 2, Subpart B, SAIC was identified in letters to
industry as one of a number of contractors and subcontractors receiving
this information. In effect, this notice merely adds Highland Data
Services to the list.
The information being transferred consists of information
previously collected by EPA's Office of Science and Technology (OST),
in connection with the Waste Treatment Industry Phase II
Questionnaires, to support the development of effluent limitations
guidelines and standards under the Clean Water Act for the landfills
and incinerators industry.
EPA also intends to transfer to SAIC and Highland Data Services all
information listed in this notice, of the type described above
(including CBI) that may be collected in the future under the authority
of CWA Section 308, as is necessary to enable SAIC and Highland Data
Services to carry out the work required by their contracts to support
EPA's development of effluent limitations guidelines and standards for
the landfills and incinerators industry.
