ACTION: Cancellation of an environmental impact statement.

SUMMARY: On July 24, 1991 a notice of intent to prepare an
environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Boulder tony Timber Sale
and Other Projects on the Siuslaw National Forest was published in the
Federal Register (56 FR 33903). Because of new direction in the
President's Forest Plan, the proposed project is no longer consistent
with Forest management objectives. The Forest Service has decided to
terminate the environmental analysis for this EIS. There will be no
draft or final EIS for the Boulder Tony timber sale and other projects.
