the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. chapter 35).

    Title: Patent Term Extension.
    Form Number(s): None.
    Agency Approval Number: 0651-0020.
    Type of Request: Extension of a currently approved collection.
    Burden: 1,800 hours.
    Number of Respondents: 30.
    Avg Hours Per Response: 60 hours.
    Needs and Uses: The collected information submitted by the patent 
owner is used by the Patent and Trademark Office and the Departments of 
Agriculture and Health and Human Services to determine if the term of 
the patent is eligible for extension under 35 U.S.C. 156.
    Affected Public: Individuals or households, businesses or other 
for-profit instututions, not-for-profit institutions, Federal 
Government, and state, local or tribal governments.
    Frequency: As required.
    Respondent's Obligation: Required to obtain or retain benefits.
