Northwest Pipeline Corporation; Notice of Refund Report

June 29, 1999.
    Take notice that on June 23, 1999, Northwest Pipeline Corporation 
(Northwest) tendered for filing a report of Gas Research Institute 
(GRI) refunds made to its customers.
    Northwest states that on May 28, 1999 it received a refund from the 
GRI in the amount of $2,315,734, representing an overcollection of the 
1998 GRI Tier 1 funding target level set for Northwest by the GRI. On 
June 11, 1999, Northwest credited the GRI refund, pro rata, to its 
eligible firm customers who received nondiscounted transportation 
service during 1998.
    Northwest states that a copy of this filing has been served upon 
Northwest's affected customers and intereste state regulatory 
commissions.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules 
and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed on or 
before July 7, 1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room. This filing may be viewed on the web at
