Blue Lake Gas Storage Company; Request for Waiver

June 30, 1999.
    Take notice that on June 4, 1999, Blue Lake Gas Storage Company 
(Blue Lake), tendered for filing a request to waiver the interactive 
web site requirements set forth in Commission Order Nos. 587-G and 587-
I. Blue Lake states that it has only one firm customer, an affiliate, 
which contracts for Blue Lake's full storage capacity. According to the 
filing, this customer has advised Blue Lake that it has no need, now or 
in the future, to be able to transact business with the Blue Lake on 
the Internet. In the alternative, Blue Lake requests an extension of 
time to implement the interactive web site requirements until a Part 
284 customer requests that Blue Lake offer transactions via the web 
site.
    Blue Lake states that copies of its filing have been served upon 
each person designated on the official service list compiled by the 
Secretary of the Commission.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on 
or before July 8, 1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission 
in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve 
to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room. This filing may be viewed on the web at
