Research and Development Contracting; Correction

AGENCY: Department of Defense (DOD).

ACTION: Correction to interim rule.

SUMMARY: The Department of Defense is issuing a correction to the 
preamble to the interim rule published at 63 FR 34605, June 25, 1998, 
pertaining to streamlined research and development contracting.

EFFECTIVE DATE: June 25, 1998.

Correction

    In the issue of Thursday, June 25, 1998, on page 34605, in the 
second column, the last sentence of the Background section is corrected 
to read as follows: ``This interim rule supersedes the interim rule 
published under DFARS Case 96-D028 on April 4, 1997 (62 FR 16099).''
