Pacific Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

July 2, 1997.
    Take notice that on June 30, 1997, Pacific Gas Transmission Company 
(PGT) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised 
Volume No. 1-A: First Revised Sheet Nos. 136 and 144, to be effective 
August 1, 1997.
    PGT asserts the purpose of this filing is to comply with the Office 
of Pipeline Regulation's June 10, 1997 Letter Order in Docket No. RP97-
134-004, pursuant to Section 375.307(e)(5) of the Commission's 
regulations, by removing a reference to GISB Standard 4.3.6 from 
Paragraph 34.4 of the General Terms and Conditions of PGT's Gas Tariff, 
First Revised Volume No. 1-A.
    PGT further states a copy of this filing has been served upon its 
jurisdictional customers and interested state regulatory agencies, as 
well as the official service list compiled by the Secretary in the 
above-referenced proceeding.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests must be 
filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Reference Room.
