AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Final rule.

SUMMARY: Action in this document allots Channel 268C3 to Mahnomen,
Minnesota, as that community's first local broadcast service in
response to a petition filed by Jimmy D. Birkemeyer. See 62 FR 15871,
April 3, 1997. There is a site restriction 15 kilometers (9.3 miles)
northwest of the community. The coordinates for Channel 268C3 are 47-
25-00 and 96-06-00. Canadian concurrence has been obtained for the
allotment of Channel 268C3 at Mahnomen. With this action this
proceeding is terminated.
DATES: Effective August 11, 1997. The window period for filing
applications for Channel 268C3 at Mahnomen, Minnesota, will open on
August 11, 1997, and close on September 11, 1997.
