AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition by Floriplex,
Inc., proposing the allotment of Channel 243A to Lexington, Tennessee,
as the community's second commercial FM service. Channel 243A can be
allotted to Lexington in compliance with the Commission's minimum
distance separation requirements with a site restriction of 9.1
kilometers (5.6 miles) northeast in order to avoid a short-spacing
conflict with the licensed site of Station WMOD(FM), Channel 244A,
Bolivar, Tennessee. The coordinates for Channel 243A at Lexington are
35-43-33 and 88-21-13.
DATES: Comments must be filed on or before September 18, 1995, and
reply comments on or before October 3, 1995.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply
to this proceeding.
