AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission requests comments on a petition filed by
Quinton W. Goode seeking the allotment of Channel 284A to Moapa Valley,
NV, as the community's first local FM service. Channel 284A can be
allotted to Moapa Valley in compliance with the Commission's minimum
distance separation requirements without the imposition of a site
restriction, at coordinates 36-31-30 North Latitude and 114-24-56 West
Longitude.
DATES: Comments must be filed on or before September 29, 1994, and
reply comments on or before October 14, 1994.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply
