AGENCY: Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
ACTION: Notice of information collection submitted to OMB for review
and approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980.

SUMMARY: In accordance with requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act
of 1980 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the FDIC hereby gives notice that it
has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget a request for OMB
review of the information collection system described below.
Type of Review: Extension of the expiration date of a currently
approved collection without any change in the substance or method of
collection.
Title: Application For Consent to Exercise Trust Powers.
Form Numbers: FDIC 6200/09.
OMB Number: 3064-0025.
Experation Date of OMB Clearance: September 30, 1994.
Respondents: Insured state nonmember banks wishing to exercise
trust powers.
Frequency of Response: On occasion.
Number of Respondents: 50.
Number of Responses Per Respondent: 1.
Total Annual Responses: 50.
Average Number of Hours Per Response: 15.
Total Annual Burden Hours: 750.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Insured state nonmember banks must apply to
the FDIC for consent to exercise trust powers in accordance with 12 CFR
333.2. Applications are evaluated by FDIC to verify the qualifications
of bank management to administer a trust department and to ensure that
the bank's financial condition will not be jeopardized as a result of
the trust operations.
