Filing and Reporting Requirements for Interstate Natural Gas 
Company Rate Schedules and Tariffs; Notice of Revised Natural Gas 
Pipeline Company Electronic Tariff Filing Instructions

August 6, 1996.
    On September 28, 1995, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission 
(Commission) issued Order No. 582, (the rule) amending part 154 of the 
Commission's regulations under the Natural Gas Act.\1\ The changes 
wrought by the rule include modifications to the Commission's 
electronic filing requirements, including changes to the instructions 
for filing tariff sheets electronically. The electronic tariff sheet 
instructions adopted by the rule included, on the title page, all valid 
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control numbers applicable to the 
filing of tariff sheets. OMB control number 1902-0154 expired June 30, 
1996. Recently, OMB extended the expiration date for OMB control number 
1902-0154 to June 31, 1997.

    A respondent will not be penalized for failure to respond to a 
collection of information unless the collection of information displays 
a valid OMB

control number.\2\ The title page of the electronic tariff filing 
instructions attached at Appendix A is revised to display the new 
expiration date for OMB control number 1902-0154. No other changes to 
the instructions have been made.
