National Institute on Aging; Meeting of the National Advisory
Council on Aging
Pursuant to Pub. 92-463, notice is hereby given of the meeting of
the National Advisory Council on Aging, National Institute on Aging,
September 29-30, 1994, to held at the National Institutes of Health,
Building 31, Conference Room 6, Bethesda, Maryland. This meeting will
be open to the public on Thursday, September 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30
p.m. for a status report by the Director, NIA; a report on the
Geriatrics Program; a discussion with the Director of the National of
Health; a report on the Working Group on Program; a discussion of
program policies and issues, recent legislation, and other items of
interest. Attendance by the public will be limited to space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in secs. 552b(c)(4) and
552b(c)(6), Title 5, U.S.C. and sec. 10(d) of Pub. L. 92-463, the
meeting of the Council will be closed to the public on Friday,
September 30 from 8:30 a.m. to adjournment for the review, discussion
and evaluation of grant applications. The applications and the
discussions could reveal confidential trade secrets or commercial
property such as patentable material and personal information
concerning individuals associated with the applications, the disclosure
of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal
privacy.
Ms. June McCann, Committee Management Officer for the National
Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, Gateway Building,

9322), will provide a summary of the meeting and a roster of committee
members upon request.
