SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Effective June 16, 1994, the Commission
instituted the subject investigations and established a schedule for
their conduct (59 FR 36212, July 15, 1994). Subsequently, the
Department of Commerce extended the date for its final determination in
the investigation of silicomanganese from the People's Republic of
China to October 31, 1994 (59 FR 40008, August 5, 1994). The
Commission, therefore, is revising its schedule in the silicomanganese
investigations to conform with Commerce's new schedule.
The Commission's new schedule for these investigations is as
follows: the prehearing staff report will be placed in the nonpublic
record on October 21, 1994; requests to appear at the hearing must be
filed with the Secretary to the Commission not later than October 28;
the deadline for filing prehearing briefs is also october 28; the
prehearing conference will be held at the U.S. International Trade
Commission Building at 9:30 a.m. on November 2; the hearing will be
held at the U.S. International Trade Commission Building at 9:30 a.m.
on November 3; and the deadline for filing posthearing briefs is
November 14.
