ACTION: Renewal of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory
    Committee.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: The delegate of the Secretary of Commerce renewed the
Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC). The
renewal of the Committee is in accordance with the Federal Advisory
    Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App. 2, and 41 CFR Parts 101-5.10 (1990),
    Federal Advisory Committee Management Rule.
The ETTAC was established by the Secretary of Commerce on May 31,
1994, to advise the Secretary of Commerce in his capacity as the
Chairman of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee (TPCC), as well
as other TPCC heads and officials on issues related to the export of
    environmental technologies.
The Committee functions as an advisory body in accordance with the
Federal Advisory Committee Act. On October 22, 1994, the Congress
passed the Jobs Through Trade Enhancement Act, 15 U. S.C. 4728(c). This
Act mandated the creation of such an advisory committee on
    environmental technologies exports.
