Mississippi River Transmission Corporation; Notice of Compliance
Filing
August 12, 1998.
Take notice that on August 7, 1998, Mississippi River Transmission
Corporation (MRT), 1111 Louisiana Street, Houston, Texas 77002-5231,
filed a revision to its initial filing of July 2, 1998, in compliance
with FERC Order 587-G to incorporate by reference GISB Standards 1.2.
Pursuant to the Commission's letter order of July 23, 1998, MRT filed
revised tariff sheet, Substitute Fifth Revised Tariff Sheet No. 80, as
part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1.
On July 23, 1998, the FERC issued an order accepting MRT's
compliance filing with the condition that it file a revised tariff
sheet reflecting the incorporation of GISB Standard 4.3.5 and the
elimination of the obsolete Standard 4.3.4, effective August 1, 1998.
With the acceptance of MRT's tariff filing on July 23, 1998, and in
compliance with said order, MRT placed its tariff sheet into effect
August 1, 1998.
Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE.,
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as
provided in Section1 54.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
