Chic by H.I.S. Hickman, Kentucky; Notice of Termination of 
Investigation

    Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation 
was initiated on July 20, 1998, in response to a petition by a company 
official filed on behalf of workers at Chic by H.I.S., Hickman, 
Kentucky.
    A certification applicable to the petitioning group of workers, 
employed at Chic by H.I.S., Hickman, Kentucky was issued on July 20, 
1998, and will be in effect until April 29, 2000 (TA-W-34,404E). 
Consequently, further investigation in this case would serve no 
purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.
