SUMMARY:

The Audio Division, at the request of Linda A. Davidson, allots Channel 289A to Kernville, California, as the community's second local aural transmission service. See 68 FR 27960, May 22, 2003. Channel 289A can be allotted to Kernville, in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements, provided there is a site restriction of 5.6 kilometers (3.5 miles) northeast of the community. The reference coordinates for Channel 289A at Kernville are 35-46-29 North Latitude and 118-22-09 West Longitude. A filing window for Channel 289A at Kernville, California, will not be opened at this time. Instead, the issue of opening a filing window for this channel will be addressed by the Commission in a subsequent order.
