Phillips Alaska Pipeline Corporation; Notice Rejecting Protest

August 14, 1997.
    On August 12, 1997, the State of Alaska filed a motion for leave to 
file a protest out of time in the above-docketed proceeding. Under 18 
CFR 343.3(a), protests in this proceeding were due on or before July 
15, 1997. Pursuant to 18 CFR 375.302(g), the late-filed protest is 
rejected.
