FDA Cares About Consumers: A Conversation With America; District
Consumer Forum
AGENCY: Food and Drug Administration, HHS.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA's), Office of Regulatory
Affairs, Southeast Region, Atlanta District Office, and the Office of
Consumer Affairs are announcing a district consumer forum entitled
``FDA Cares About Consumers: A Conversation With America.'' This forum
will provide an opportunity for consumers, community-based
organizations, and other interested stakeholders to participate in open
discussions on health issues and agency regulatory actions with FDA
officials and tour the new FDA regional laboratory.
Date and Time: The forum will be held on Wednesday, September 16,
1998, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with tours of the Southeast Regional
Laboratory from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: The forum will be held at the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration, The Atlanta Complex, 60 Eighth St. NE., Atlanta, GA
30309.

for this forum. Space is limited, therefore, interested parties are
encouraged to register early. Indicate whether you would like a tour of
the laboratory facility and the time you would like the tour. Tour
space is very limited and will be filled on a ``first come, first serve
basis.''
