    President's Commission on the Celebration of Women in American

    AGENCY: General Services Administration.
    
    ACTION: Meeting Notice.

    SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the President's Commission on the 
    Celebration of Women in American History will hold an open meeting from 
    9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 1999, at the 
    Portland Marriott-Downtown, 1401 South West Naito Parkway, Portland, OR 
    97201.
    
    PURPOSE: To introduce the ``How to Guide'' to Women's Groups and to 
    discuss Y2000 Women's History Month Celebrations.
    
    FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Martha Davis (202) 501-0705, Assistant 
    to the Associate Administrator for Communications, General Services 
    Administration. In addition, inquiries may be sent to
