SUMMARY:

The FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) revision of a current information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on May 15, 2008, Vol. 73, No. 95, page 28183. The form is used by private citizens involved in aviation to nominate private citizens for recognition of their volunteer service to the FAA.

Affected Public: An estimated 150 Respondents.

Frequency: This information is collected annually.

Estimated Average Burden per Response: Approximately 1 hour per response.

Estimated Annual Burden Hours: An estimated 150 hours annually.

Abstract: The form is used to nominate private citizens for recognition of their significant voluntary contribution to aviation education and flight safety. The agency/industry committee will use the information on the form to select eight regional winners and one national winner from each group. The respondents are private citizens involved in aviation.
