Washington: Withdrawal of Immediate Final Rule for Authorization
of State Hazardous Waste Management Program Revision
AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
ACTION: Immediate final rule withdrawal.

SUMMARY: Due to receipt of an adverse written comment, EPA is
withdrawing the immediate final rule published on Tuesday, July 7, 1998
(63 FR 36587) for the approval of the State of Washington's
authorization revision to its hazardous waste program under the
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). As stated in the Federal
Register document, if adverse written comments were received by August
6, 1998, a notice of withdrawal of the immediate final rule would be
published in the Federal Register. EPA will address the comments
received in a subsequent final action in the near future.
DATES: This withdrawal is effective on August 21, 1998.
