Pacific Fishery Management Council; Public Meetings
AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of public meetings.

SUMMARY: The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) and its
advisory entities will hold public meetings.
DATES: The Council, and its advisory entities will meet during
September 8-12, 1997. The Council meeting will begin on Tuesday,
September 9, at 8 a.m. with an open session, will reconvene on
Wednesday and Thursday at 8 a.m. in open session, and will reconvene on
Friday at 8:30 a.m. in open session. On Friday, September 12, the
Council will meet in closed session (closed to public) from 8 a.m. to
8:30 a.m. to discuss litigation and personnel matters.
