The Forest Service, which owns and manages all of the shoreline lands at Pinecrest Lake as part of the Stanislaus National Forest, required the SMP as a sub-plan under condition No. 29 (Recreation Facilities and Administration) to manage the reservoir shoreline at Pinecrest Lake and to address privately owned boat docks and mooring balls, and include zoning of Start Printed Page 50682certain sections of shoreline for swimming, fishing, and shoreline boat access.
Since all of the shoreline at Pinecrest Lake is owned and managed by the Forest Service, the Commission has no authority to dictate how the SMP is to be implemented. As such, the Commission views PG&E's filing as informational and will not take action on it. Any comments on the SMP should be directed to the Forest Service.
