    Ex. 9) be held on August 22, and on less than one week's notice to the 
    public.
        By a vote of 3-0 on August 19, the Commission determined pursuant 
    to U.S.C. 552b(e) and Sec. 9.107(a) of the Commission's rules that 
    ``Briefing on Investigative Matters'' (Closed--Ex. 5 and 7) be held on 
    August 22, and on less than one week's notice to the public.
        By a vote of 3-0 on August 19, the Commission determined pursuant 
    to U.S.C. 552(e) and Sec. 9.107(a) of the Commission's rules that 
    ``Affirmation of Sequoyah Fuels Corp. General Atomics' Petition for 
    Review and/or Motion for Directed Certification (Docket No. 40-8027-
    EA)'' (Public Meeting) be held on August 22, and on less than one 
    week's notice to the public.
    
        Note: Affirmation sessions are initially scheduled and announced 
    to the public on a time-reserved basis. Supplementary notice is 
    provided in accordance with the Sunshine Act as specific items are 
    identified and added to the meeting agenda. If there is no specific 
    subject listed for affirmation, this means that no item has as yet 
    been identified as requiring any Commission vote on this date.
