    Notice of meeting.

    SUMMARY:

    Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-463, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development (ORD), gives notice of a meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC) Homeland Security Subcommittee.

    DATES:

    The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, August 27, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be closed to the public Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. All times noted are Eastern Time and are approximate. Attendees should register by August 17, 2015 at the Eventbrite Web site: https://www.eventbrite.com/​e/​us-epa-bosc-homeland-security-subcommittee-meeting-tickets-17369165642. Requests for the draft agenda or for submitting written comments will be accepted up to August 21, 2015.

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    General Information: A portion of the meeting is closed to the public pursuant to E.O. 13526—Classified National Security Information sections 1.4(e) “scientific, technological or economic matters relating to national security” and section 1.4(g) “vulnerabilities or capabilities of systems, installations, infrastructures, projects or plans, or protection services relating to the national security.” Because a portion of the meeting involves matters that are classified in accordance with E.O. 13526, this session is exempt from public disclosure pursuant to section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), 5 U.S.C. App. 2, and section (c)(1) of the Government in the Sunshine Act, 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(1). Therefore, the meeting will be closed to the public on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    Any member of the public interested in receiving a draft agenda, attending the meeting, or making a presentation at the meeting may contact Tom Tracy, the DFO, via any of the contact methods listed in the FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT section above.     Oral Statements: In general, each individual making an oral presentation at the public meeting will be limited to a total of three minutes. Each person making an oral statement should also consider providing written comments so that the points presented orally can be expanded upon in writing.
