Enhancing the Enforcement Authority of Immigration Officers

AGENCY: Immigration and Naturalization Service, Justice.

ACTION: Final rule correction.

SUMMARY: The final rule published in the Federal Register on August 17, 
1994 at 59 FR 42406 was to have contained a chart summarizing the 
categories of immigration officers who are authorized to exercise the 
principal enforcement authorities outlined in the regulation. This 
chart was omitted in error. This document contains the omitted chart 
which was referenced in the Supplementary Information section on page 
42408, the third column, first paragraph. The chart served as an 
illustrative tool and its omission in no way impacts the effective date 
of the regulation.

EFFECTIVE DATES: This correction is effective August 17, 1995. The 
effective date of the final rule published on August 17, 1994 remains 
August 17, 1995.
