Gulf of Mexico Program's Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice of meeting of the Citizens Advisory Committee of the 
Gulf of Mexico Program.

SUMMARY: The Gulf of Mexico Program's Citizens Advisory Committee will 
hold a meeting at The Pontchartrain Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: A meeting of the Citizens Advisory Committee 
of the Gulf of Mexico Program will be held at The Pontchartrain Hotel, 
2031 St. Charles Street, New Orleans, LA. The committee will meet from 
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 30, 1997. Agenda items will 
include: Update on Focus Teams: Habitat, Nutrients (Hypoxia), 
Shellfish, Non-indigenous Species; Public Education and Outreach 
Activities; 1999 Symposium; Coastal America Merger with Gulf Program; 
Future Opportunities for Citizen Involvement; Review of Bylaws; and 
Election of CAC Co-Chairs. The meeting is open to the public.
