Special Emphasis Panel in Design, Manufacture, and Industrial
Innovation; Notice of Meetings
In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-
463, as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the
following meeting:
Name: Special Emphasis Panel in Design, Manufacture, and
Industrial Innovation (1194) submitted to the Phase I Small Business
Innovation Research Program in the areas of Electrical and
Communications Systems: Quantum Electronics, Plasmas, and
Electronics Magnetics, Civil Mechanical Systems Structures,
Electronics Magnetics, Neural Engineering, Lightwave Technology, and
Chemical Characterization. In order to review the large volume of
proposals, panel meetings will be held on September 23 and 24, 1996
in rooms 320, 340, 360, 370, and 530, National Science Foundation,
4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22230. All meetings will be
closed to the public and will be held at the National Science
Foundation, 4201 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. each day.

information of a proprietary or confidential nature, including
technical information; financial data, such as salaries; and
personal information concerning individuals associated with the
proposals. These matters are exempt under 5 U.S.C. 552b(c) (4) and
(6) of the Government in the Sunshine Act.
