National Institute on Aging; Notice of Meeting of the National
Advisory Council on Aging
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the National Advisory Council on Aging, National Institute
on Aging, Wednesday, September 20, 1995, to be held at the National
Institutes of Health, Building 1, Wilson Hall, Bethesda, Maryland. This
meeting will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a
status report by the Director, NIA; a report on the Biology of Aging
Program; a report on the Working Group on Program; and for a discussion
of the NIA budget, program policies and issues, recent legislation, and
other items of interest. Attendance by the public will be limited to
space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in sections 552b(c)(4)
and 552b(c)(6), Title 5, U.S.C. and section 10(d) of Public Law 92-463,
the meeting of the Council will be closed to the public from 3:00 p.m.
to adjournment for the review, discussion and evaluation of grant
applications. The applications and the discussions could reveal
confidential trade secrets or commercial property such as patentable
material and personal information concerning individuals associated
with the applications, the disclosure of which would constitute a
clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
Ms. June McCann, Committee Management Officer for the National
Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, Gateway Building,

9322), will provide a summary of the meeting and a roster of committee
members upon request.
