    California; Declaration of Disaster Loan Area
    
        Stanislaus County and the contiguous counties of Calaveras, 
    Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, and Tuolumne in the State 
    of California constitute an economic injury disaster loan area due to 
    damages caused by a fire which occurred on April 17, 1994 in the City 
    of Modesto. Eligible small businesses without credit available 
    elsewhere and small agricultural cooperatives without credit available 
    elsewhere may file applications for economic injury assistance until 
    the close of business on April 26, 1995 at the address listed below: 
    U.S. Small Business Administration, Disaster Area 4 Office, P.O. Box 
    13795, Sacramento, CA 95853-4795, or other locally announced locations. 
    The interest rate for eligible small businesses and small agricultural 
    cooperatives is 4 percent.
