    ACTION: Notice.

        The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the 
    following proposal for collection of information under the provisions 
    of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).
        Title and OMB Control Number: DoD FAR Supplement, Part 247, 
    Transportation, and Related Clause at 252.247; OMB Control Number 0704-
    0245.
        Type of Request: Extension.
        Number of Respondents: 2,532.
        Responses Per Respondent: 1.
        Annual Responses: 2,532.
        Average Burden Per Response: 11 minutes.
        Annual Burden Hours: 460.
        Needs and Uses: This requirement provides for the collection of 
    information from contractors who transport supplies by sea. It is used 
    in the application of transportation and traffic management procedures 
    in the acquisition of supplies. It is additionally used by contracting 
    officers to process transportation and related services contracts.
        Affected Public: Business or other for-profit; Not-for-profit 
    institutions.
        Frequency: On occasion.
        Respondent's Obligation: Required to obtain or retain benefits.
        OMB Desk Officer: Mr. Peter N. Weiss.
        Written comments and recommendations on the proposed information 
    collection should be sent to Mr. Weiss at the Office of Management and
