Sunshine Act; Change In Time And Deletion Of Agenda Item From 
August 1st Open Meeting

    The Federal Communications Commission previously announced on July 
25, 1996, its intention to hold an Open Meeting on Thursday, August 1, 
1996, commencing at 9:30 a.m. The time has been changed to 10:30 a.m., 
and the following item has been deleted from the list of agenda items 
scheduled for consideration.

1--Cable Services--Title: Preemption of Local Zoning Regulation of 
Satellite Earth Stations (IB Docket No. 95-59); Implementation of 
Section 207 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and Restrictions on 
Over-the-Air Reception Devices: Television Broadcast Service and 
Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service (CS Docket No. 96-83). 
Summary: The Commission will consider rules to implement Section 207 of 
the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
    The prompt and orderly conduct of Commission business requires this 
change and no earlier announcement was possible.
