f. Location: The 3.4-Megawatt (MW) Crown Mill Hydroelectric Project would be located on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (“Corps”) lands within the campus of the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam on the Mississippi River, in the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Description of Request: The licensee proposes to move the project site about 250 feet north to a property owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (“Corps”) within the campus of the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam that is adjacent to the as-licensed site. The most significant difference will be that the Crown Project will move the location of the powerhouse and will be using a new tunnel tailrace as opposed to connecting to an old existing tunnel.

Comments, Protests, or Motions to Intervene: Anyone may submit comments, a protest, or a motion to intervene in accordance with the requirements of Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR 385.210, .211, .212 and .214. In determining the appropriate action to take, the Commission will consider all protests or other comments filed, but only those who file a motion to intervene in accordance with the Commission's Rules may become a party to the proceeding.
