Lower Mississippi River Waterway Safety Advisory Committee Vessel 
Traffic Service Subcommittee

AGENCY: Coast Guard, DOT.

ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: The Lower Mississippi River Waterway Safety Advisory 
Committee's Vessel Traffic Service Subcommittee will meet to discuss 
navigation safety matters affecting the Lower Mississippi River area. 
The meeting will be open to the public.

DATES: The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. 
on Wednesday, August 23, 1995.

ADDRESSES: The meeting will be held at the Crescent Pilots' Belle 
Chasse office, located at 8712 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, Louisiana 
70037.

meeting is open to the public. Members of the public may present 
written or oral statements at the meeting. The agenda for the meeting 
consists of the following items:
    (1) Introduction of new members.
    (2) Discussion on the plans for a Vessel Traffic Service on the 
Lower Mississippi River.
    (3) Presentation of any additional new items for consideration of 
the Committee.
