Great Lakes Gas Transmission Limited Partnership; Notice of
Proposed Changes in FERC Gas Tariff
August 1, 1996.
Take notice that on July 29, 1996, Great Lakes Gas Transmission
Limited Partnership (Great Lakes) tendered for filing as part of its
FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff
sheets to become effective September 1, 1996:
Third Revised Sheet No. 6
Second Revised Sheet No. 9
Second Revised Sheet No. 53
First Revised Sheet No. 54
Second Revised Sheet No. 59
Original Sheet No. 59A
Second Revised Sheet No. 60
Great Lakes also tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas
Tariff, Original Volume No. 2, the following tariff sheets to become
effective September 1, 1996:
Sixth Revised Sheet No. 3-A
Fourth Revised Sheet No. 224
Fifth Revised Sheet No. 246
Sixth Revised Sheet No. 270
Sixth Revised Sheet No. 295
Third Revised Sheet No. 615
Great Lakes states that the proposed revised tariff sheets are
being filed to reflect a revision to the methodology for allocating
system fuel and other use gas, and the corresponding determination of
Transporter's Use percentages, to reflect more distance sensitivity.
Great Lakes further states that the proposed revised tariff sheets are
being filed to revise the mechanics of its Transporter's Use mechanism
so as to conform with the standards required by the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission's Order No. 587 issued July 17, 1996.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426,
in accordance with Section 385.214 and Section 385.211 of the
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must
be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection
in the Commission's Public Reference Room.
