Southern Natural Gas Co.; Notice of Revised GSR Tariff Sheets

August 3, 1994.
    Take notice that on July 29, 1994, Southern Natural Gas Company 
(Southern) submitted the following tariff sheets to its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Seventh Revised Volume No. 1, to reflect an increase in GSR 
billing units effective August 1, 1994, due to new transportation 
commitments under rate schedule FT:

Tenth Revised Sheet No. 15
Tenth Revised Sheet No. 17
Eighth Revised Sheet No. 29
Eighth Revised Sheet No. 30
Eighth Revised Sheet No. 31

    Southern states that copies of the filing were served upon 
Southern's customers and interested state commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Rule 211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests should 
be filed on or before August 10, 1994. Protests will be considered by 
the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but 
will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of 
Southern's filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection.
