    PJM Companies/Atlantic City, et al.; Notice of Filing
    
    August 5, 1996.
        Take notice that on July 24, 1996, Atlantic City Electric Company, 
    Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, Delmarva Power & Light Company, 
    Jersey Central Power & Light Company, Metropolitan Edison Company, 
    Pennsylvania Electric Company, Pennsylvania Power & Light Company, 
    Potomac Electric Power Company, and Public Service Electric and Gas 
    Company filed the following documents pursuant to 18 CFR 35.12 or 35.13 
    as part of the restructuring of the Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland 
    Interconnection (PJM Pool):
        1. Transmission Owners Agreement to which is attached the PJM 
    Control Area Open Access Transmission Tariff;
        2. Reserve Sharing Agreement;
        3. Mid-Atlantic Market Operations Agreement;
        4. PJM Dispute Resolution Agreement;
        Copies have been served on the regulatory commissions of Delaware, 
    the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and 
    Virginia.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
    in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of 
    Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such 
    motions or protests should be filed on or before August 19, 1996. 
    Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
    appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
    parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
    file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
    Commission and are available for public inspection.
