National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases;
Notice of Meeting: National Diabetes Advisory Board
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the National Diabetes Advisory Board on October 17-18, 1994,
8:30 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m., at the Bethesda Marriott, 5151 Pooks
Hill Road, Bethesda, Maryland. Notice of the meeting room will be
posted in the hotel lobby. The entire meeting will be open to the
public, with attendance limited to space available.
Agenda
October 17 Research training and clinical training of primary care
providers.
October 18 New therapies for diabetes such as islet cell
transplantation, pancreas transplantation, insulin pumps and glucose
sensors.
For any further information, and for individuals who plan to attend
and need special assistance, such as sign language interpretation or
other reasonable accommodations, please contact Mr. Raymond M. Kuehne,

prior to the meeting. In addition, upon request, Mr. Kuehne's office
