Take notice that on August 31, 1995, Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line
Company (Panhandle) tendered for filing to become part of its FERC Gas
Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, revised tariff sheets list on
Appendix A to the filing. Panhandle proposes that these tariff sheets
    become effective October 1, 1995.
Panhandle states that these revised tariff sheets are being
submitted in accordance with Section 18.2 (Annual Charge Adjustment
Provision) of the General Terms and Conditions of Panhandle's FERC Gas

    gas transported.
Panhandle states that copies of this filing are being served on all
customers subject to the tariff sheets and applicable state regulatory
    agencies.

be filed on or before September 11, 1995. Protests will be considered
by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken,
but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any
person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene.
Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available
for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
