Washington Gas Light Company; Secondary Market Transactions on
Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines; Notice of Application of Washington
Gas Light Company to Participate in Proposed Experimental Pilot Program
To Relax the Price Cap for Secondary Market Transactions
September 5, 1996.
Take notice that on August 30, 1996, Washington Gas Light Company
(Washington Gas) filed an Application to Participate in the ``Proposed
Experimental Pilot Program to Relax the Price Cap for Secondary Market
Transactions'' pursuant to the Commission's notice issued July 31,
1996, in Docket No. RM96-14-001. Washington Gas states that it
qualifies for participation in the proposed pilot program.
Washington Gas states that copies of its filing are available for
inspection at its offices at 1100 H Street, NW., Washington, DC.
Any person desiring to comment on or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in
accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's
regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed within 15 days
and comply with the requirements in Section 154.210 of the Commission's
regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to
make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection
in the Public Reference Room.
