AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document proposes to delete Channel 298A from La Fayette,
Georgia. In its Petition for Rule Making, Tennessee Instructional Radio
contends that this allotment cannot be implemented because of FAA
restrictions. The deletion would require the concurrent dismissal of a
construction permit application for this allotment by Radix
Broadcasting, Inc. (File No. BPH-920304MH).
DATES: Comments must be filed on or before October 27, 1997, and reply
comments filed on or before November 12, 1997.
