    The proposal for the collection of information listed below has 
been submitted to OMB for approval under the provisions of the 
Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). Copies of the proposed

    Abstract: Respondents are required to obtain approval from the 
Minerals Management Service's Regional Supervisors when they enter into 
an agreement to unitize operations under two or more leases. Any 
proposed modifications to the agreement must also be approved by the 
Regional Supervisor. This information is necessary to ensure that 
operations under the proposed unit agreement will result in the 
prevention of waste, conservation of natural resources, and protection 
of correlative rights including the Government's interest.
