United States International Telecommunications Advisory 
Committee; Radiocommunication Sector, Study Group 1; Meeting

    The Department of State announces that the United States 
International Telecommunications Advisory Committee (ITAC), 
Radiocommunication Sector, Study Group 1, will meet on September 29, 
1994, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Federal Communications Commission, 
Room 315, 1919 M Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
    ITU-R Study Group 1 is concerned with the development of principles 
and techniques for effective spectrum management, sharing criteria and 
methods, techniques for spectrum monitoring and long term strategies 
for spectrum utilization.
    This meeting will begin preparations for the international meeting 
scheduled for November 10-November 16, 1994 in Geneva.
    Members of the General Public may attend the meeting and join in 
the discussions, subject to the instructions of the U.S. Chairman, Dr. 
William Ultaut. Anyone planning to attend the meeting is requested to 
contact Ms. Marcie Geissinger at [phone].
