National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders;
Notice of Meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National
Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute on
Deafness and Other Communication Disorders on October 17, 1996. The
meeting will be held as a telephone conference call emanating from Room
3C05, Building 31, National Institutes of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike,
Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
The meeting will be open to the public from 1 to 2 pm to present
reports and discuss issues related to the business of the Board.
Attendance by the public will be limited to space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in Sections 552b(c)(4)
and 552b(c)(6), Title 5, United States Code and Section 10(d) of Public
Law 92-463, the meeting will be closed to the public from 2 pm to
adjournment at approximately 2:30 pm. The closed portion of the meeting
will be for the review and discussion of the recent evaluation of
research programs within the Division of Intramural Research, National
Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, including
consideration of personnel qualifications and performance, the
disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of
personal privacy.

Scientific Counselors, National Institute on Deafness and Other
