AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY: The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will 
hold a public meeting with the limited access permit holders in the 
golden crab fishery in the South Atlantic region.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Monday, September 27, 1999, from 
1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The purpose of this meeting is for Council 
staff to meet with the limited access permit holders in the golden crab 
fishery to gather information in preparation for Amendment 1 to the 
Golden Crab Fishery Management Plan.
    Although other issues not contained in this agenda may come before 
this group for discussion, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens 
Fishery Conservation and Management Act, those issues may not the 
subject of formal action during this meeting. Action will be restricted 
to those issues specifically listed in this notice.

    This meeting is physically accessible to people with disabilities. 
Requests for sign language interpretation or other auxiliary aids 
should be directed to the Council office (see ADDRESSES) by September 
20, 1999.
