WestGas InterState, Inc.; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas
    Tariff

    September 8, 1995.
Take notice that on September 6, 1995, WestGas InterState, Inc.
(WestGas) tendered for filing to become part of its FERC Gas Tariff,
First Revised Volume No. 1, First Revised Sheet No. 5. The proposed
effective date of the tariff sheet is October 1, 1995.
WGI states that, pursuant to section 154.38(d)(6) of the
Commission's regulations and Section 21 of the General Terms and
Conditions of its tariff, WGI is making its Annual Charge Adjustment
(ACA) filing to reflect a decrease of $.0002 per Dth (from $.0024 to
$.0022 per Dth) in its ACA surcharge.
WGI also states that the revised tariff sheet corrects a
typographical error in the maximum commodity rate for Rate Schedule IT
reflected in the currently-effective rate sheet.
WGI states that copies of its filing were served on all
jurisdictional customers and interested state commissions.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C.
20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.214 and 385.211 of the
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should
be filed on or before September 15, 1995. Protests will be considered
by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken,
but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any
person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene.
Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available
for public inspection in the public reference room.
    Lois D. Cashell,
    Secretary.
