Approval and Promulgation of Implementation Plan; Indiana

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency.

ACTION: Final rule; withdrawal.

SUMMARY: On July 19, 1994 (59 FR 36700), the United States 
Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) approved a revision to the 
Indiana State Implementation Plan (SIP) for ozone. The action approved 
Indiana's 1990 base year ozone precursor emissions inventory for Lake 
and Porter Counties. The emissions inventory was submitted by the State 
of Indiana to satisfy a Federal requirement that States containing 
ozone nonattainment areas submit inventories of actual ozone precursor 
emissions. The USEPA is withdrawing this final rule due to the adverse 
comments received on this action. In a subsequent final rule USEPA will 
summarize and respond to the comments received and announce final 
rulemaking action on this requested Indiana SIP revision.

EFFECTIVE DATE: September 15, 1994.
