Northern Natural Gas Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC 
Gas Tariff

September 12, 1995.
    Take notice that on September 5, 1995, Northern Natural Gas Company 
(Northern) tendered for filing to become part of the Northern's FERC 
Gas Tariff, Fifth Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheet, 
proposed to be effective September 1, 1995:

First Revised Sheet No. 105

    Northern states that such tariff sheet is being submitted in 
compliance with the Commission's ``Order on Rehearing'', issued August 
3, 1995, in Docket No. RP95-185-002, to clarify the tariff provision 
addressing turnback of TFF capacity.
    Northern further states that copies of the filing have been mailed 
to each of its customers and interested State Commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Rule 211 of 
the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211). All 
such protests must be filed on or before September 19, 1995. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection.
